Keep in mind all fisherman want and expect different things from their equipment. I read many different reviews before purchasing while keeping in mind just because some folks didn't like them doesn't mean they are not good rods.I have learned matching the proper line is of the utmost importance. The 20 lb. P-Line is a great match for me on these rods but it al boils down to what you intend to do with it. This rod is not what you want for heavy cover as it does not have the "backbone" and was not intended to. It is better for Shakey Head, Texas Rigs and Crawling Jigs on Drops and Saddles. If you want to fish heavier cover you need to go up in rod size.
